Chalet Grands Chemins can be rented independently or together with Chalet Transalpin for groups of up to 17-20.

Exterior

Chalet des Grand Chemins boasts a fabulous location less than 100m from the main ski lift in Argentière in the well known Chamonix Valley. A real bonus is being able to ski in and out directly from the chalet so you don´t have to worry about carrying your skis anywhere. The main ski schools for adults and kids are also conveniently reachable by a ski slope which runs behind the chalet itself.

Should you want to go elsewhere the chalet staff offer a minibus drop off and pick up service at the ski resort of your choice in the Chamonix Valley.

The chalet is also ideal for non-skiers. Those who want to make the most of the beautiful setting will be sure to enjoy the nearby forest which has numerous walking routes. A 5-10 minute walk will take you into town where you will find everything you could wish for- a wide variety of bars and restaurants, specialty shops and a supermarket.

It should also be noted that the location is private but with lovely open spaces so children are able to play safely outside in the snow, building snowmen and sledding on the gentle slopes (equipment provided).

The chalet has the added luxury of an indoor heated swimming pool and a Swedish sauna located in the downstairs basement and shared with the next door chalet. A fabulous hot tub has also been installed on the outdoor terrace.


Interior

Chalet Grands Chemins is a luxurious chalet, fully catered, and able to sleep up to 9 or 10. Everything has been finished to perfection with high quality fittings and facilities including wi-fi internet and under-floor heating throughout. It is decorated in an attractive modern style, although it is not lacking that charming alpine feel due to the wooden paneling and beamed and sloping ceilings.

The comfortable living room is a lovely spot for cozy evenings in. An L-shaped large sofa is positioned in front of the flat screen satellite television complete with surround-sound and DVD player and a wide selection of films. This room has huge windows through which you can admire the landscape. The dining room and kitchen are also on this level with direct access door to the terrace. All bedrooms conveniently have their own en suite bathroom. The 2 bedrooms on this level can be twin rooms or doubles with king-size beds.

Upstairs you will find a second living room with a sofa bed, TV and DVD player, along with a balcony looking out to Mont Blanc and the remaining 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, a double and a triple.

Your private chef will give you a real gourmet experience with classic but creative meals. A full continental breakfast is provided (and a cooked breakfast can be prepared for those who would like one); after a long day on the slopes you can treat yourself to the daily baked goods for afternoon tea while you relax. Then you have a delicious 4-course dinner to look forward to. Any dietary requirements are willingly catered for and a children´s menu and separate dining time for children is also available. Two out of seven nights guests are left to enjoy the restaurants in Chamonix.

What makes this chalet extra special is the friendly, personal and efficient service. Staff are very keen to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and thus are always at your disposition for any request you might have. A reliable baby-sitting service is offered as is a private minibus transfer to and from Geneva airport.
