Located in the countryside in the small village of Arriate you will feel remote and secluded, but still only a short drive to the historic town of Ronda . This Andalusian country house and its outer buildings have been renovated and can now provide comfortable and luxurious accommodation for up to 12 people in its six en-suite double / twin rooms. You will be delighted with the amount of space that the villa offers. The classic villa is arranged over a sprawling collections of buildings that comprise of a main house and four ancillary buildings. It is ideally suited to two large families traveling together, or to two multigenerational family groups who desire both time together and private moments
The main house has soft and relaxing colors,the blue hues and wooden beams give off an authentic feel of old Spain. Relax in the comfortable sitting room with a fireplace which provides the warmth needed for those chillier evenings. The double heighted ceilings give off an ample feeling of space and the large windows allow for the light to flood in adding to that warm and cozy feeling. Relax in the sitting room with a good book or perhaps just sit and enjoy the sweeping views towards Ronda. The Andalusian country-style kitchen is fully equipped and has all that you need to prepare family meals indoors. The main house can accommodate four guests in its two double size bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom can be accessed going up its own private staircase from the dining room. There is a queen size bed, a roll-top bathtub and high, shuttered French windows which open onto a bridge taking you directly to the alberca pool. The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower. The second bedroom has a relaxing but comfortable decor: all white walls, chalky grey shutters and a terracotta tiled floor, pepped up by Moroccan rugs. It has a bathtub and a walk-in rain shower in its bathroom and French windows lead out to the smaller pool.
The lower house has a wonderful entertainment area for both grown and children to enjoy. The games room has a pool table, table football, table tennis and living room to relax, a home cinema where the kids can watch films, a fully equipped kitchen, and two double bedrooms. The first bedroom is a comfortable twin room with adjacent shower, but the second bedroom is has quite the romantic feel. An Indonesian four-poster bed takes centre stage, whilst the shower room feels lifted straight from a Moroccan riad. Shuttered doors lead out to a private valley-facing terrace which, in turn, leads to the shaded dining terrace that fronts the games room.
The three additional en-suite bedrooms are located in other separate annexes across the cobbled courtyard. Bedroom five has a quaint and cosy feel, enhanced by a wood-burning stove in the old hearth, and a small terrace that it shares with bedroom six. Both have double or twin beds, freestanding wardrobes and shower bathrooms. Bedroom six has the most amazing views out across the valley while bedroom five looks towards the lovely courtyard.
Finally, nearest to the main pool, the third annex houses is where you will find the seventh bedroom. This is characterised as more of private suite as it has a valley facing terrace, a private living room on the lower level (with a sofabed), and a bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower.
Outside is ideal for relaxing, playing and entertaining. Children can run array in the gardens, adults can lounge by the pool, evening meals can be had outdoors. There are two private pools: a large infinity pool and a smaller solar-heated pool. There are two covered terraces for dining, one with a barbecue, fridge and sink, and the organic fruit and vegetable gardens offer seasonal produce for guests.
Set in the rolling hills of Ronda with views that come at you from every angle it is just a wonderful villa to go where you can disconnect and relax. It’s definitely a place with more than just a little magic to it.
