The villa is a wonderful combination of modern design mixed with rustic traditional nods of old Spain. As you step inside through the original antique oak door you will begin to see the contrast of how rustic meets the sleek and cutting-edge. The spacious living area incorporates the best of natural materials - exposed original stone walls, modern wooden tables, a huge iron fireplace and hand-woven sea-grass rugs. There are comfortable sofas and armchairs, and a large flat screen TV, plus a Bose music system.
The beautiful gourmet kitchen could be considered a chefs dream with a complete and impressive roster of facilities. The natural slate flooring, polished natural granite and wood work surfaces, as well as island in the middle makes it a wonderful place for informal dining. It is well equipped with a fridge freezer, gas and electric hob, separate oven, and a dishwasher and sink, with windows opening to the grounds beyond. Just across the kitchen is the dining room, with a hand-carved teak dining table with chairs, a domed ceiling and exposed stone walls.
In the main house there are two large double bedrooms. Both bedrooms are spacious with four poster beds, ceiling fans, built in wardrobes and spacious modern bathrooms. The master en-suite has a a hydro-massage bath, double granite basins, a walk in shower and separate WC and bidet, while the other has a two metre bathtub, separate walk in shower with mosaic-tiled floor, double stone basins, Both bedrooms have French doors opening out to the beautiful interior courtyard.
Walking through the beautiful interior courtyard you can is where you will find 2 additional bedrooms. Each of these rooms have been exquisitely furnished with colorful rugs, a four poster bed, built in wardrobes, wood beamed ceilings and en suite shower room with polished stone floors.
The impressive and fragrant courtyard is planted with 100 year old olive trees and lavender in abundance. From the dining room, doors open out to a lovely peaceful wisteria-covered dining terrace, with a mosaic-tiled table and chairs, surrounded by laurel trees and pots of aromatic herbs.
Huge wooden doors open to reveal uninterrupted views of the well maintained gardens and grasslands beyond. Steps lead up to the swimming pool area, which is surrounded on two sides by lawn, olive and oak trees, and on one side by wooden decking. The inviting 14m x 6m pool is surrounded by teak sun loungers and comfortable day beds. Should you wish to escape the sun there is plenty of shade provided by a partly covered pool house, which has a dining area with table and chairs, a built in BBQ and pizza oven, and a small kitchen with gas hob, sink, dishwasher and fridge freezer. There is also an outside shower room.
There is a two hour daily maid service included - however additional hours can contracted on request. Also please note that the WiFi connection is only accessible in the kitchen, dining room and living area of the main house.
